La Chaleur

On the eve of departure, tragedy strikes the quiet and reserved Marouane. Amid rising tensions on a sweltering campsite, a fight with another boy turns deadly. Panicked, he hides the body and pretends nothing happened. As the police close in during his final hours at the campsite, Marouane becomes trapped in his own lies. A growing connection with the magnetic Giulia offers a glimpse of escape, but his only real obsession is surviving long enough to make it home.
