Godday Godday Chaa

During the 1990s in Punjab, women were not allowed to accompany men to Baraat (a baraat is a celebratory wedding procession for the groom involving live music and dancing), and the groom’s mother was not allowed to attend Pheras (Pheras are a tradition of taking rounds around the sacred fire) either.
A young woman Rani intends to put an end to this ritual in the male-chauvinist society. Rani starts building a team with other women, secretly fights for women’s rights, and succeeds in her plans. It is a social satire about women’s empowerment and a thrilling ride.
